And we have what’s needed to contain skyrocketing costs and inspire people to lead healthier lives.
Behind all of our technology and advanced analytics is a team of problem-solvers who lead with both the head and the heart to tackle some of healthcare’s most pressing challenges. Healthcare is deeply personal, so we never forget healthcare must always be human.
We also know true innovation happens when you empower everyone – not just a chosen few – to put their passion to work and imagine what’s possible. That’s why we invite every HMSer to join our Volunteer Army, contributing their ideas, talents and time in meaningful ways.
As a team of doers, we believe it’s the diversity of our people and their ideas that help our customers move healthcare forward.
That’s who we are, it’s what we believe and it’s how we operate.
We believe in the power of diverse perspectives and experiences and foster an inclusive environment where HMSers can be their authentic selves and thrive. It’s why we created our Diversity and Inclusion Council to focus on gender, ethnicity, LGBTQ, persons with disabilities and cross-cultural diversity at HMS.
We know that our greatest strength is that we’re not all the same. HMS is better and stronger because we reflect the diversity of the people our clients serve.
We proudly support and actively recruit military veterans to build long-term careers with us. The leadership, teamwork and discipline gained through years of service to our country enhance our culture and drive our business results. Bringing leadership and commitment, not just technical ability and knowledge, we are proud to offer veterans a place to grow and develop their careers.
Fifty percent of our leaders are women. The women of HMS are shaping our business and driving our company’s success. We believe in empowering women and creating a culture of equality, ensuring every woman at HMS feels valued, connected and appreciated.
Our Women’s Opportunity Network (WON) helps women achieve these goals by focusing on professional development, networking and mentoring through interactive webinars, networking, mentorship and leadership activities. A grass roots initiative started by people passionate about our continued efforts to attract, develop, retain and advance women, this program is supported at every level of the company.

Every summer, the HMS Internship Program creates opportunities for upcoming university juniors and seniors to grow their professional skills through meaningful work experience and mentorship.
Serving in offices across the country, our interns are connected throughout the summer with workshops, lunch and learn events, social activities, newsletters and more, that allow them to collaborate with peers and reflect on their roles and what they’ve learned.
If you are ready to put your passion to work, we encourage you to apply now for consideration for next summer’s program.
The HMS internship is available to upcoming juniors and seniors.
As a healthcare technology company, we have a diverse range of job opportunities and need for skills. From finance and marketing to engineering and data analysis, we look for the brightest minds across multiple disciplines.
Applications for the Internship Program open in the fall and close in mid-spring.
